I don't have a good feeling about this helmet. First a double decal for 750.00 with chinstrap for 750.00 that would be a great deal!! The liner and the shell condition don't match in my opinion. My opinion only. Tread with care, Marty

Hmm this is thread is very interesting due to the 50/50 opinions, the seller sent me the same pics and my opinion was i just didn't like the shield it just did not " fit " with the rest of the helmet, now that was a gut feeling and not based on knowledge...

If it turns out to be real then i have learned a lesson , if it turns out fake then it has a lot of folk fooled...

Glenn, I think he sent the same pics to Mr. magneto as were sent to mr. Wheaton in the OP.

I would love to see additional pics of the liner pins to see if they've been unmolested.

Correct, i got the pics 3 weeks ago along with another couple of M35 DD's and the M42 Police DD which the links are in my previous posts,just trying to help out here...

Double decal Luftys are out there for that price. I paid $700 for my Q64 M35 a year ago.

I love the Luftwaffe helmets, from the M35 to the M42. My grandpa worked for them in Germany so there's always that special bond with the LW. I've been looking to buy one but helmets are pretty expensive nowadays. If any of tyou guys want to swap a helmet with a NSKK dagger then PM me pls. I would love to get a decent LW helmet.
