I think it looks a little too good for the state of the helmet, but i don't know the difference between an original Adler and a fake, hence my asking

I'm going to say fake. I think you can tell by the look of the claws. They don't look like claws I have seen on any authentic decals. The swastika also looks suspicious. The corners at the end of each of the arms look unusually round.

Thankyou this why i ask.these some think"tedious" questions so as i might in time be able to tell a fake from a real one.

Put over top rust, the flatness and construction of the decal is also incorrect, for me these are the 2 tell tale stay away signs. PS I like your avatar...LOL
