Lutwaffe camo M40, original or fake?

Hi everyone, I was offered to buy this camo LW M40, but the decal and paint don't sound good to me.
The shield is marked hkp, size 64, lot No. 3764.
Any thought?

Agree, the liner and paint are bad as well IMHO.

I have to agree with Jerry, liner and paint are bad.
Shell is probably original.

Hi and welcome to the forum Meganeura,i do not like this one bit,the "cammo"paint is not period in my opinion,the wear is not looking natural at all,the liner is messed with to say the least(note the bending and kinks to the liner band!)The liner also looks as though it may not even be a period example.As for the decal,i am not keen on that either.Sorry, Leon.
