M-40 Battle Damaged helmet
Picked this one up the other day for a good price under 100 USD paint is original and decal has been removed sometime in its life there is a entry and exit from the schrapnel or bullet damage to the helmet. I don't know what the holes and dent is on the top damage. It is a decent solid shell for rebuilding or display. timothy
Very nice helmet!!! But it looks as there is some kind of overpaint on the spot where the bullet hit. Be that as it may this is a lovely lid!!
Hi Timothy, you often find German helmets had a pick axe put through them after the war so that may be the top damage. Leon.
