M 40 Shell opinions please....

Just recieved this liner from a guy in the U.S ....goes well in the helmet its dated 1940...a real dark colour though

I like this, I would have Dan's helmet where the liner is black of beeing blood in it

Yes leather is quite stiff but not brittle
