M16 and M18 Shells Reissued to 1940 Specs

Article about: Here are 4 pretty good examples of WWI shells used during WWII - reissued to the WH during the War to 1940 specs. The first 2 are standard shells, but the maker stamps are covered in paint.

    Thanks Jim
The head of the eagle on your M16 looks like a Stracht. But the talons of left foot are not matching up. The head is definitely not Peiniger....so not sure what it is. But still sweet !!
