Nice Chris, not a very common one at all. You could carefully use a cotton bud and acetone to remove the post war glue and decal remnants, you don't need me to tell you to be careful though I'm sure!

I tried that but it did not work.
The name in the liner ,is not a name but I think a location where the helmet was used.

Yes it was the one I was waiting on.
Not a ww1 helmet and not a ww2 helmet.
But one that I always wanted.
You see them more often with the shield gone with two decals for police.

this helmet I do not like much, it feels fake .....
I look in my folder "Stahlhelm faked"
maybe I made a mistake, but generally sthahlhemn ww1 are one of my specialties.
