Just wan't to show you my first transitional helmet - the M17 DD Polizei.
...normally I am more to the German 1935-1945 combat helmets, but the M17 DD Polizei really looks cool.

Very nice Austrian. Those chinstraps are tough to find in collectible condition such as yours. Looks like an X "Blackie"...re-issued to police

I noticed that too! A re-issued blackie for sure, a great helmet and with the added bonus of a paper naming label affixed as well, superb. Leon.
