Maybe it is interesting to see a close-up from a photo I have
from a Bahnschutz parade.
The decal on one side has the national colors.
The other side:
Jim , today a guy I know that hunts for helmets in Belgium showed me photos of a black DD Heer (as we know now these are also Bahnschutz, thanks to the label in one of yours).
This one also had the city crown stamp like yours , don't remember if it has the size.
I should have pushed him more so I could buy it , he didn't get it yet.
Decided to bump this thread as well since there have been several threads that center on transitional so used by the Bahnschutz and Reichsbahn recently.
Well worth bumping this thread for a chance to see this rare stahlhelm, beautiful example.
One of the best out there. Cool and rare helmet. Proudly custodian as well of the same configuration on a M16 shell.
