Nice wartime example , I think Anders cannot see the decal close ups or was too fast to respond.

Looks like the decal damage was done by it being taped post war, then when tape was removed...."Ouch".
Other than that, I see no problem

So that's It! Decals have been taped in order to protect them. I was wondering what the line around the party decal was… It's just remains of glue!

The residue of glue or tape can be seen around the eagle decal too. Sure it could be removed without damaging the paint/patina if done with care

Yes! Hopefully It as not been revarnish. Thank you Real Steel. You've immediatly identified my problem with this helmet. I will purchase it for 200 euros (real good price I think).
