M34 Helmet?

I got a World War II era German helmet from my Grandpa as a gift, and I want to know more about it. He couldn't tell me much except he had it mailed to him by a cousin in 1945 from Germany. I did some research and I think it might be an m34 helmet, but I'm not sure. If anyone knows about this kind of helmet, please let me know :P

a nice complete Fire Protection M34 helmet!!! ( actually made between April 1934 and July 1938 when the insignia changed )

Hello and welcome! Looks like an early and nice M34 square dip civil helmet. Some sings on the comb but still looks good.

Look around the back of the liner. You can see some leather tabs that held a neck protector. They are often missing on these helmets but nonetheless you got a nice one. NH

Thank you, wow, such quick responses! This is cool information. i looked around the liner, and I saw a "60" on one of the leather flaps, but there weren't any inscriptions or anything in the metal.

There are some leather tabs there though.

That 60 is the head size ( 60cm ) you probably wouldn't see the feint stamps at the inside edges of the rim.
