Hey... I'm just a novice in the field myself, so... no worries. I think perhaps the standards were a bit looser when it came to civic types, it was all about the military back then I guess

Is there any way to get better close-ups of the decals.
The police eagle does not look right to me.

Just wanted to add that the helmet in question had already sold ( I was notified just now). I really do hate it when sellers do not remove or mark items as sold within a reasonable timeframe... oh well, I'll keep looking.

Hmmm, yeah... can't really comment on the decal myself but I DID notice a few other dubious items on there. I'll have to start studying up on police decals I think, no reason to rush into a purchase really... there's obviously plenty of these out there. Appreciate your help though!

I thought that I'd post for police decal opinions in this fairly recent thread of mine instead of starting a completely new one... so, here are the decals in question:

I have seen original decals like this one with the deformed head on another site but these also seem a bit "flat" and white in appearance and, also, possibly lacking a bit too much in detail (especially the "eagle"/pigeon

)?
Then again, it seems like there's plenty of authentic variations out there so any input on these would be very much appreciated! I am at a loss--

Ok fire police good looking original helmet with Fire neck flap attachments I have one without upper pad and neck attachments probably strictly police use with same decals I will post No worries timothy
