I agree, Slados. My luftschutz lid has similar paint issues, like runs and bubbles. It looks fine to me. In fact, my black LS was sold on eBay for $200 and sold as a re-lined , re-painted lid because it looks so fresh and hastily painted. But it turns out to be 100% original. I would try and talk down the price a bit if I were you. Maybe at least $50.

Just read the posts before mine regarding the lid in the OP ,Just to be clear, I think the helmet looked ok , but not an expert on decals so I have no input there. Also, I didn't realize it had already been sold. I guess it is for the better, it was a bit overpriced IMO . These are readily available ,so you will get one sooner or later .
