yup definitely reproduction i don't think they ever used metal cross sections for the MkII liners they used some sort of fiber and stamped the size and maker into that.
Best Regards Matt
On the look out for original ww2 M26 Adrian helmet liner.

10 euros!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I too would have bought it for that even if the inside is more a British configuration I have seen another like this once apparently used in early British training Movies it sold for £60
This is not one of those, I own one used by the Canadians.
This helmet is incorrect to make a restoration from.

ok after removing the extra paint it is an SE62 ex DD helmet only the shades are present now......

Because the chinstrap bales are incorrect for a correct German helmet. German helmets have the chinstrap bales on the liner.

i know i removed all these i will post pictures in a couple or hours or less of the finished helmet i will notify you to check it if you like i used acetone

The liner and strap are from the Greek MkIIs, .: World War Helmets - Casque Mark II :.
I think I would have left it as it was as novelty.
Steve.

ok so after seeing the helmet again it has a grey paint and on top of it there are some spots with green reissue paint
