M35 Beaded Helmet - Triple Decal - Volkssturm Used?

I know most don't get excited about beaded helmets, but I love them. This one received a brush applied coat of smooth green combat paint, and was adorned with three, count 'em, three Heer decals. I believe they were period applied, as the wear is consistent with the paint on the shell, and it looks as if at some point there may have been a half-hearted attempt to scrape them off. I suspect this one was issued to a member of the Volkssturm at the end stages of the War. I wish these helmets could talk! Hope you like it, Jim G.

I dont know about that Jim I one day would love to add a beaded helmet to add to my collection the one you are showing is the first one I have ever seen with three Heer decals applied very nice .

Like i said earlier Awesome !!! The only other helmet i have seen with a Heer emblem on the front like that was accreditted to either Volkstrumm (home guard i believe) or Officer cadets but there was or is no doccumentation to back up this theory, WhatA find!!!!
