Hi Sscrooge
Im interested in the stamped helmet codes your brilliant DAK M35, ive recently come by a tatty M35 but some stamped numbers are legible, 3436 on the rear of the rim and SE63 on the left rim (could be SF63) do these mean anything ?
Cheers
Reg
Hi Reg, it will be SE which is the initials of maker the number is more than likely 68 which is size and the number at back is its batch number hope that helps
Very nice lid Dave
Ben
Wow..fantastic looking helmet. Would love to add one like this to my collection. Great score. Mike
Nice find that Dave cracking example,

SE is the maker mark for Sachsiche Emaillier und Stanzwewerke from the town of Lauter.
68 is the size of extra large, liner band size 60 or 61cm.
