I like it, but the tri-color has been uncovered, I don't know how much that affects the value. What is the asking price?

To me the price is still to high.

originally the tricolor would be completely overpainted , now you need to ascertain if the decal was post war uncovered or not.
A lot is visible and it is not often you see it like that.

I suspect that the tri-colour was revealed by sanding post war, judging by the very smooth surface to the right of the decal. A soldier would , I believe, scrape away paint rather than sanding, JMO

Hi, it all looks fine to me and if I were buying from the UK, the euro/pound conversion would make this a fair price. Personally though, I am not a fan of "dug out" decals, so I would pass. I much prefer to see the "shadow" of them left alone under the over paint. Leon.

Replace, I agree with Leon. I am not a big either of a decal being dugout, but if you can get the price a little lower on that argument, the helmet is a good example. You just want to be carful because if you buy the helmet and the day comes that you my want to sell it the same argument will be made against you. Good luck, marty
