A new purchase, this is another tiny double decal Heer. It is an ET60, lot number 4076, with classic ET style transfers. It was white washed at one time, and with the turn of the seasons the soldat scraped the camo off - you can see the tell tale scrape marks all over the exterior of the shell. He did a good job preserving the decals and the exterior paint, but there are still traces of the white wash remaining around the vents and the liner rivets. The helmet has a clear 1939 dated acceptance stamp, and the liner, a size 53 reinforced aluminum band example, is likewise dated 1939. The leather has the typical circular stains from having been placed on the soldier's gas mask canister. Unfortunately, the chin strap is lost to time, but otherwise the helmet is untouched. A true combat vet, hope you like it. Jim G.
