    Very nice, Italy I would think from the camo, but it could have been tan and then the other colours added in Italy. Very nice either way.

    yes, could be either from Rome area or from veneto, could be one from herman goering, there were some hundred of italian voluntiers my grandpa was part of it too.

    Interesting! I did a quick surname search on Jacobi and all the results turned up as German. I guess it just goes to show you that you learn something everyday!
