I think the decals are 100% correct. The only problem with the helmet is the partial liner, but the exterior is really nice and the helmet displays well.

I agree with Jim. No problem with this party decal, looks like a correct Pocher party decal as found on this style of M34. Remember there are several makers of party decals and they will differ ever so slightly so comparing one to another should only be done by the same maker for comparative purposes.
As for the water police, they may be documented but this was before further knowledge and magnification shows no layering of gold on the decal, just lacquer toning as seen on many Heer decal examples. I'd like to see your example posted in a separate thread if possible, as I agree I haven't seen one yet that was layered like a KM gold layered decal.
Gentlemen,
Many thanks for all the great info, opinions and help! Hopefully I can return the favor over in the buckles forum
Best,
Adam
For me also correct and original decals , originally applied.
And as an avid helmet collector and observer I haven't seen any Polizei helmet that could be called water police. Haven't seen any supporting evidence either.
I think we had this discussion before, about the Water Police decals, apparently the info came from another site but again i believe the so called documented examples were proved to be incorrect and that natural toning was the cause for discolouration
Hi Guys,
Attached here are my own photos of the purchased helmet which arrived a few days ago. It does display pretty nicely. Thanks again for all the comments and help
Best,
Adam
