Just got home with this one, so no outside pics, these are the best I can do tonight.
It is rather salty but these are hard to find.
Hope you all like it and I will get better pics when the sun comes back out.
Looks like a 4 digit lot number on the skirt I will look better. The adler is clearly gold in hand.

I think it looks like a good KM. very salty but for the rarity, I would be ok with salty. The excellent examples are too high for me. Can't wait to see the outside pics. Was this a woodwork find or elsewhere?

Salty helmet but very rare one.
No question this is a good DD KM helmet.
    Great find.
    Should be very happy

Seems to me to be a Heer decal actually. I can't really see any raised border and it's more or less the same tone as the white part of the nat shield. JMO

It's a nice salty lid though Eric, I like it a lot.

Possibly, but not convinced so far but has possibilities, some decal detail is obviously missing. Maker? Quist? ET? I have an NS double decal heer in similar condition and shell color.

To me it looks like an ET, and I am with Andy on this one, I think it is a toned Heer. It is salty indeed, but a decent representative example of what I believe to be a Heer helmet. The liner was probably replaced as well, but it very well may have been war time done. I like it, but I think it is a Heer. Jim G.

I can't decide Kriegs or Heer; the lighting can alter the color quite drastically.

I now also think it is a toned Heer with some research.
I still payed a very fair price, and it was another local buy.
