    Guys,

    New today, bit of a shame as some clown has removed the rivets and the decals, perhaps in preparation of restoration job, who knows but it looks like it was a nice battle bowler before they messed with it.

    On the plus side you get to see the original liner that people in their right mind don't often remove!

    PS, does anyone have some spare original brass rivets, I doubt it but worth asking?

    Nice catch mate. One of my helmets has been De-nazified in the same way. Still German & Still been there

    Nice lid and decals were probably removed as per regulation.Many had factory or home made covers over them too so would have been hidden.Nice liner but can't help with the rivets sorry

    Jock, you can find the rivets on-line. Used originals are about $20 a set
    with the washers. You may have to do a 'touch up' or repaint them
    to get the same colour as the lid.....


    I need two good original liners just like the one you have there
    for a M35 (size 64) and M42 (size 64)
    if you know of a source....
