Sometimes a helmet just seems to find its way to you as if it were meant to be in your collection. This one by coincidence, pretty much arrived in my neighborhood on an absolutely unrelated matter a couple of hours after me finding out about its existence. It traveled about 70 miles or so by happenstance. I was initially more amazed at how the stars sometimes line up than I was with the helmet itself. After looking it over good, I like it as it displays an evolution of sorts. Hope you guys like it as well.

This one has that un-messed with veteran look and shows signs of considerable use and age. It was repainted with non-reflective paint and appears to have had the tri color removed when it started to peak through the over paint. There is possibly some evidence of having had a piece of wire or something wrapped around the split pins during its past.

Hi John , I have no idea about what is going to give you a sore head even though it obviously involves alcohol , but I do know that you have found yourself a really nice ex double decal HEER helmet that has not been messed around with. John, I love it. All original and has lots of charactor. Reminds me of the SS no decal helmet I picked up the other day. My compliments.
