    I like that one as well, can't comment on the authenticity, cause I know nothing about it, and don't feel like the urge to change it as it seems rather complicated.

    Manufacturer lot number prefix, could mean the steel batch or mfr plant or assembly line. I do not think anyone knows the meaning of the lettering or numerical sequencing if lot nrs. By combining them into a database you can spot trends and year of manufacture.
