M35 Heer helmet?

Hey lads looking for some info on this helmet. I cant find any makers marks or lot stamps. And its been repainted? Or a repro? Also it has a cotton chin strap were these even used?.cheers

Looks an original shell but totally mucked with.
Probably a British chinstrap and looks like cardboard liner and silver frost paint job.
A kids creation years after the war.

The shell is an M35 by the looks of it. (I have corrected your thread title: it is not an M42) But it should be marked.

This will have a a small value as a restoration project.
