That's really a textbook example of a genuine aged patina helmet. This is the look the fakers try to aspire to. Note the leather aging in unity with the steel. One look at the chin strap and you just know it's been on that helmet for a very long time. Likewise the decals with the yellowing and cracking. Very nice aged example.
