I'm not sure if this style decal was ever used seems odd that the decal has paint loss and chips when the rest of the helmet has little wear IMO this is postwar painted

Sounds like you guys don't like the decal. I don't know anything about these but if the decal is fake, the fakers did a crafty thing by using a small size 60. These small helmets are not as common as the other sizes ( other than size 70, of course)
