Article about: I got a chance to snap a few photos of a helmet I have had for a while. It is so hard to get good photos of these IMHO because they reflect light so much. I think daylight hours and a tripod

    I got a chance to snap a few photos of a helmet I have had for a while. It is so hard to get good photos of these IMHO because they reflect light so much. I think daylight hours and a tripod do the best, even my light tent through the cloth has such a reflection of the lights. An SE64 DD LW that as far as I can tell has never been apart. Seems to have been named twice. The first name was covered as the initials were applied would be my guess.

    Looks like a nice honest well used helmet, congrats.

    Some helmets are near impossible to photograph properly due to the light they reflect. No matter how many pictures you take, you just never feel it is captured properly. So, I completely understand what you mean Max

    Not a helmet guy by all means but to me that one screams original, I used to own one very similar, nice lid

    Not perfect, but one of those 'been there' looking lids.

    A great looking "combat" used helmet , I like them with the worn in look much better than a near perfect example personally! Leon.
