Default M35 or M40 DD CAMO named?

I started a thread some days ago about this helmet but I thought I start a new one.
I got hold of it today and took some quick shots.
The pics are not great, it was difficult to photograph these round things so sorry about that.

Stamped in helmet is "Q64" and "527"
There is a name written in white, "Latta." i guess
Liberated decals i got from the last thread

What can you tell me more about this one?
Is it worth something or is it a fake or bad in any other way?

    Thanks!

As an unexperienced collector, I must say I like it even though the decals may be liberated. May I ask what he wanted for it?

I can tell you its an M35. I like the paint too, but the fakes are really good these days, so wait for a more expert opinion.

I got it for €200. A bit more than I was going to but I liked it and the guy was very honest and nice.

EDIT: It's my first helmet so I did not want to spend to much either.

These pics are MUCH better, thank you! I must say I am usually very reserved when it comes to camo helmets, but I kinda like what I see. Lets see what more experienced camo collectors say, as I have never held a true camo in hand. I am cautiously optimistic.

You got a heck of a deal if it all comes back thumbs up! Even with the decals liberated. I like the camo style BTW.

A good deal if it turns out right. But it seems like a nice helmet

Hi , you do yourself a disservice , these are great pictures! The helmet itself matches up to other known DD HEER M35's by it's lot number. With these images I can see that they are original decals that have been "liberated". I also feel this cammo has a good chance of being ok. I have seen this "sponged on" blotchy effect on a Kriegsmarine helmet before so it is quite possible that the same method was used on both. The chinstrap and liner both look good to me also,it doesn't look like a red dye norwegion as the small rivets are alloy and not brass. All in all I like it and at 200 euro's it is a steal!! Well done , Leon.

I must admit I like it as well, paint ,liner strap, all appear OK,the one thing I did notice however is that the liner band is the non reinforced type, I'm not 100% certain of the correlation as to when the bands were reinforced,ie, very early on in production or later, I daresay one of the lads will be able to chime in with necessary info
