I've seen them for sale through the years represented as Egyptian army contract by some where that comes from I don't know some say could be a factory paint for tropical use I don't know mystery as much as the wolf's head stamped ET's. nobody can seem to pin them down with documentation or period pictures hopefully we might find out some day. timothy
