Hello chaps, I just picked up this nice Quist made M35 (Q64/ 1234) that was once a double decal Luftwaffe helmet, but received a Depot level "granulated" over paint. The interior is still the gloss Luftwaffe blue and the liner has never been removed as the pins are solid and un-bent. The outside shows signs of having had a whitewash applied in the past as there is the remains of it around the pin heads, around the vents and in the deeper areas of the helmets surface. The red showing on the national shield I think is just a line of paint that has gotten onto the shell, it is sitting in the "white" section of the tri-colour on top of the over paint! Leon.

Haha, I was not intending on "straying away" from the Home Front but I could not resist this one! I will have to be more disciplined from now on!! Leon.
