    Sure it's not a Hkp M40? Either way looks like a decent cleaned semi relic lid. Do you have any history behind it, how it was found?

    No history about place, but does seem to be scraped free of rust and put together with original parts.

    I would agree with you dug or heavily cleaned. Look at pitting, very clean.

    Definitely an M40 that's been refurbished with original liner...Notice the deep pitting in the interior...But if you're happy with the deal, that's all that matters.

    To be honest, Jason, it looks a lot like an M40, maybe seller has got it wrong with its description?
