Greetings, this saying of the Luftwaffe M40?
The decal is as broken in postwar war or accident.
The numbers do not look very good because of the painting, they think?
thanks

I say a nice quist.
Looks good to me!
Hi there, looks a good M40 quist that has been RE-DECALED at least once as you can just see the outline of another adler's wings underneath the visable decal,i only looked closer as the swastika remains were to low to be part of the current decal!! The naming however looks like a postwar addition to me,that said I would happily own this helmet, Leon.
looks good.
Agree, though my screen is acting up and some of the lid is glowing green, it looks legit.
Unless in fact it is glowing green in reality, in which case there are some problems.
Thank you very much to all, the photos are miss with Flash, I guess that's why it looks shiny.
Is it my eyes or is the name carved into the paint?
It looks indented into the paint surface and down to the bare metal as can be seen by the striations in the metal, these marks would be hard to achieve with a paint brush as they are going side to side and not up and down as you would wield a paintbrush.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Adria, have if it helps this photo
Judging by the horizontal lines on both inner skirt and the painted name it may have been cleaned/have had some covering paint removed... (?) Without commenting on the decal the exterior looks just fine though.
