Default M40 Q66 Camouflaged Combat Helmet

I have had this one forever. It is a neck stamped Q66 no decal shell, lot number DN526. The soldier smeared mud on the exterior, and affixed a strap, which I believe was made from a K-98 sling, around the dome so he could attach foliage for some additional camouflage. A simple and honest combat vet. Hope you like it. Jim G.

Like it? I love it! You have got some killer helmets Jim. What does it look like under the k98 strap?

Good to see a nice combat helmet that has had the simple solution used to apply cammo! Beats the 1001 fake "painted" cammo's hands down. Leon.

What. An. Awesome. Lid, Jim. It's a simple feature but the strap really makes the entire helmet. I got a spot on the shelf if you ever let it go

Now that's a cool one, I really like a lid with something unique like that strap.
