Here my new helmet , hope you like it !

Would appreciate some feedback on this one. I bought it for 200euro. Hope its the price ...

Hi there,looks like the poor chap wearing this one sustained a pretty serious head injury as the liner appears to have alot of blood staining.Quite a thought provoking peice.A complete picture of the decal would be nice but i think it is a good one from what i can see.

If the LW eagle is good the price is also quite OK. Is the liner original to the helmet?

Eagle is fine IMO, looks a bit flaky but that could be from the textured M40 paint finish and no decal lacquer being applied. Lack of swas is no doubt some post war 'improvement' by someone who took offense.....

One of my concerns is that the helmet look very relic like on the inside of the skirt. Rust pitting. It's hard to judge from these pics. Could you post better ones? Inside and outside pics of the helmet and the liner pins.

The darker areas on the liner are not blood stained; that is just where the liner is starting to rot from poor storage, not sweat either imo. I like everything I see so far, but would like a shot of the whole helmet from the side. The better quality the pictures the better quality the opinions.
