There are very few "real" camo helmets around, this is one of the few that have that good feeling, plus the wear is consistent, and I love the brush marks. Impossible to tell what the maker is on the decal, I could have a good guess, I'd say E. Strache as an educated one. But as Raymond says......awesome

I like this one very much! (but it seems a m42 to me, not a m40)
Camo looks original to me, never seen a fake painted like this and paint looks period. I would say Western front camo?

Did'nt like the original pic's of this Helmet but now i see it how it really is Random cammo probably done for the eastern front like Dimas said sound's right to me.They used those colour's at kursk so could be from there.Nice glimpse of decal confirming that it's original.Very nice lid
