    Hello fellow collectors,

I want to show you one of my nicest lids in terms of combat experienced lids. This one literary reeks of history. The helmet was found in an attic with this improvised german gas mask strap. IMHO the strap has good chances to be applied period WWII. You can smell hitsory! Also very interesting are the nice wire remnants on the sides probably used to hold a camouflage net and the battle damage on the rim of this puppy.

    Maker: ET
    Size: 64
    Lotnumber: 1263

    Named to G. Hermann

    So please enjoy!

    Best regards
    Garry

A great looking lid that oozes character, just how I like them! If it could talk I'd bet it has a few stories to tell.
    Cheers for showing us,
    Chris
