M40 Snow camo good or bad?

I think I'm going to stick my neck out here and say that I'm not too keen on this one, personally I'd avoid it. The paint on it is far too white, over time it turns to a white/yellow colour as seen on original examples. In my opinion its a re-painted relic thats had another chinstrap and liner fitted to fool less experienced collectors well thats my opinion, but I'm far from an expert

I don't think this guy is smart enough to fake a helmet this good.
He has it listed as an M42

I would have to agree with you on all points.
I have one from Bastogne and yes the paint does change color after time.the liner was replace.At this point I would pass without better pictures.

From looking at the second picture, the edge of the chinstrap doesnt look well worn as one would expect, it looks as if it was made and put on there yesterday

That is the first thing I saw.the inside look very rusty but the shell is very white I just do not fell good about it.
