    i like ground dug helmets with a story. Nice piece, wish I could bring my T2 on holidays there

    Did you dig this helmet?
    About a year ago a Dutch digger had a few on ebay.
    He told me they were from a construction site on the river front about a mile from the famous bridge, maybe left from the Arnhem fighting of 1945.

    speaking of battle relics,,,,I heard that GI's returning from the war via boat were ordered to throw "War Booty" over the side into the South Hampton river/bay,,,,ever hear of such a story.////Jim

    Hi Jim, this is the reason my Grandad never had any war booty! He & others were ordered to through it overboard on the way home!

    Never heard of anyone diving down to get it though!
