M42 from Germany - any warnings?

Just got this M42 helmet from Germany. What makes me a little bit worry about is the paint - seems it is overpainted helmet but there are quite strange yellow spots under the paint - looks like it was hardly polished and then overpainted? Or maybe I'm just too paranoid. What do You think? Seller claims it a recent barn found helmet but as we all know - never buy the story!

Looks ok to me and you can see where the liner has marked the inside of the shell

All i can help with is that i know the Germans used a yellow primer on vehicles and other things. Maybe they also used this primer on some helmets?

Patina looks good to me - and paint also. I'd say you are fine......
