M42 Heer EF64 lot#3754

hey fellas,.would love some comments on this,.M42 Heer EF64 lot#3754,linerband is marked RBNco/0256/3033,chinstrap is marked KAMPMANN 1940,cheers,any comments much appretiated.

I like this helmet and the chinstrap looks to me like a good original strap

Hi, again I like the helmet, a nice un-messed with M42, but I to do not like the strap. It's wear is not matching to the helmet. Leon.

A good looking M42 ND Heer OTT, I really like the paint on this one.
90% of the time I am crap with straps, so won't comment on it.

Alloy buckle on the chinstrap indicates an early war model so not the steel one of an M42.
That said, it still looks ok from the photos but some closeups would help.

Good helmet. I agree better pictures of the chinstrap to determine real or reproduction either way it is not original to the helmet. Marty
