The liner looks like a Norwegian with that colouration, check the rear seam reverse and see if there is any colour bleeding, also the two front pins, from the angle shown it looks as if there are two different pins, one larger than the other

I don't like the strap or the liner. The split pins might be ok, just the angle of the pics make them look different sized. Can you take a close up of the decal?

Nice little helmet! I'm amazed how tiny the 62s are, my Police 62 looks like a joke helmet when I try to balance it on top of my bonce.

Everything looks a ok to me, RFnr strap found on these M42's, decal is a good ET and is correct for this shell type, age matches as well, liner is simply darkened and tanned but is not the Norwegian reddish color, pins look fine and remember when assembled it is assumed there was a box of pins they were drawing from and different pins could be mixed together, helmet assemblers wouldn't care if they matched. I've seen on moreso M35s one very dark pin and 2 light or from different manufacturers.
    A nice little guy.

Remember the average build of the German soldier was much smaller than today. These were for adults as difficult as it is for us to believe that.
