Hi all,

I found this helmed, can someone tell me if it is an Original M42 helmed?

I think the decals are fake?

The national tri-colour shield is fake. It had been phased out by the time the M42 helmet was introduced. Can't speak for the rest of it, but the addition of fake decals never bodes well.

it is messed with , liner is Original , shell too. Exterior paint looks bad and the decal definitely bad.

It's an original CKL68. Liner is original & strap looks real too. Interior paint looks untouched...but exterior looks repainted. No Nat. color decal belongs on this. It's a fairly high lot# so maybe originally a no decal helmet
