Real helmet, real liner ...................... Fake decal, & chinstrap. It looks like a put together to me.

I've got to agree with John, decal and chinstrap look off to me too.
Maybe a "good" close up of the decal might change my opinion, but that is yet to be seen.

These pics are still a bit hard to see clearly, but are good enough to tell for sure.
It is a reproduction heer decal, seems to have been intentionally worn or lightly painted over with something to mask it's flaws.

It's all well and good saying "Its a Fake"! But why is it a fake. Only one person has really said that the decal is fake, so I would like to know why?

Funny old things Forums? Some people are very quick to make a comment, but not very quick in backing up those comments with reasons or facts. My simple question is:- Why is the decal a "Fake"?
