Because the inside area is less than the outside area and you have to take measurement off in order to get the correct size shell for the liner, ie example, i have a Q62 that is clearly marked yet if i measure the outside circumference with a tape it measures 64.

Nothing Drastic Dave I just assumed that the outside circumference was the actual shellsize, so I've ordered the wrong size liner for my resto job...

What size is the actual shell inside then, or what did it measure outside

It actually measures 69.5 so that would make it a 68?

Should do, so you need either a 60 or 61 liner, i would opt for a 61 as it will fit tighter, although both sizes will fit , its best to get the higher size
