I have heard of it before though in regard to the helmet, IMO from these pics the liner and the strap are not original.

Better pics are certainly needed .

Yeah the details on helmet remind me of the the opening scene from starwars...abit too much detail, unless added after the war as a memento?

Soon as my camera works again come I place good photos!
Both internals if the chin strap are not fake they are both stamped with the correct stamps.
The decal is in my opinion no nepdecal.

I actually have my doubts about the neck especially painting.

in the back of the helmet is the following:

    -211-
    marineoberhelfer E. vorwalder
    hj sturmbootflotille 1
Judging from the poor photos it doesn't have a chance. Liner and strap are not good and that's usually a sign the rest is screwed with as well.
The decal looks to be the bigfoot fake that comes in gold and silver.
Knowing the maker stamp and lotnr can also tell us something. The writing doesn't really matter , the decal and the other components will tell you the truth about the writing.

    PS I'm Belgian too ;-)

The stamps of the helmet shell are:
    (right side) ns62
(rear side) d22g it may be that I have this correctly because the stamp is almost not visible anymore!

The stamp of the chin strap: 1942 Berlin there is still a word above 1942 but that is no longer readable.

Internals and the chin strap are greased with learning ever fat there by shines a bit.

Maybe a stupid question but can a fake pages even though quite hard and dehydrated?
That is the case with this helmet if you're not careful with internals breaks the learning by drought.

I would guess its " R Larsen " above the year.

There is certainly no "R Larsen" above.
The chin strap stamp is oval with in the Middle a kind 1942.

I think we can discuss this for pages with the pics provided OR you shoot us some decent photos of the decal , liner and chinstrap and we can close this discussion in a heartbeat.

PS No NS made helmets have so far been recorded as KM , so the chances of this being a good KM helmet are getting astronomically small.

Hi Kenneth please post better photos vs giving us descriptions. As Frank says its something 99.95% not a KM with fake components anyway but we could write 45 pages without decent pics.
