I like the look of this one and nice liner/drawstring.

A lovely quality no decal M42 Replace, great addition to your collection. Michael, you are bang on the money again. Finding an un-molested no decal M42 is harder than getting one that needs some crappy SS decal stripping off from it! I regret selling one very similar to this example about two years ago, as I have not found a good replacement!! Leon.

Yes, the German M42 ND helmet is probably the one the three(m35,m40,m42), that has been tampered most with.
...not many want's to dabble with a DD or SD M35.

Earlier a nice M42 ND was relative easy to find, and for sensible money.
...perhaps that's the reason, why they have been subject to all possible and impossible transformations - because of the price and quantity!?

The helmet arrived from Holland today

The paint is a little more worn than I expected, but looks great in hand.
...liner is soft and nice.

In hand - I still like it.
