    Hello forum,

    This helmet came up for sale, and i think the paintjob looks good and unmessed with, but i´m not sure about liner and chinstrap.
    They could be aged repros.
    Any opinion on the authencity would be greatly appreciated.

    The liner and chinstrap were reproductions IMO

    I think the liner is fine, but the chin strap is from a BGS M40/53 helmet.
    The helmet looks very shiny, polished maybe?
    But I’d say aside from the chinstrap it’s period.
    But the scratched off decal is kind of unfortunate.
