this ckl68 lid was purchased forty odd years ago from an " objet d'art " shop in Plymouth during autumn hols. this was the time when one drove round in circles to get a gallon of juice for an old penny cheaper and no one dwelt on the mindset of " is the shell original ? is the liner original ? is the chinstrap original ? is the paint original ? it was nine quid !
