Markhelm der Bundeswehr
Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place. I have just acquired this from a veteran. I think it is second issue from what I can find. In side is marked JHS and what looks like a 7. it is Afrikakorps. Sorry I need to change the title of this thread. My German is not good.
Please let me know what you think and thanks.

Well since it is a type of helmet I think it belongs here, to my limited knowledge it looks decent but wait for others.
One thing though, the Bundeswehr is Germany‘s current army. Back then it was the Wehrmacht or in this case the Afrikakorps.

That is what would be called a Tropenhelm. I don't collect them, but with the limited photos it appears original.

Original second type, i believe these are usually marked inside.
Thousands of these were found in the Netherlands after the war.

Always nice to see close-ups and an interior photo but it looks good so far , this type is very common to find in good condition. Also in the port Antwerp containers were found after the war with hundreds if not thousands of these.
